The HID Fargo HDP5000 uses High Definition Printing™ (HDP®) retransfer technology to produce the highest image quality available. By printing onto a clear HDP film which is then fused to the card surface, it allows for over-the-edge printing and conforms to the ridges of embedded electronics in technology cards (prox, smart, etc.).
